JPQBU's Mission Statement
JON PERRY'S QUARTERBACK UNIVERSITY
JPQBU strives to create and develop elite and consistent quarterbacks. The quarterback position is not only the most difficult position to play in football, but it is also the most under-coached position.
At JPQBU we are far from "practical" when it comes to our training approach. We believe there is much more to developing an efficient quarterback than just throwing a football. Our innovative methods create a true game like experience in every second of training. We focus on fundamentals, proper throwing techniques, and mechanics to improve accuracy and timing.
Our ultimate goal is to provide our QBs with the necessary tools to perform at a high level under pressure.
JON PERRY III
Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he attended Paul Laurence Dunbar High School in East Baltimore. As the starting Quarterback, he led the Poets to 2 consecutive state championships. After graduating, he attended the University of Alabama-Birmingham (UAB) on a full athletic scholarship. There he was a 3 year starter and led the Blazers to its last win against a top 20 ranked opponent (Southern Miss, 2011). He also led the Blazers to the largest 4th quarter comeback (24 points) in the school's history in 2011 against Memphis, throwing a career high of 410 yards and 4 touchdowns.
After graduating from UAB with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Perry moved back to his hometown, where he spends his time coaching little league and high school football. He is a true student of the game, always learning and perfecting his craft. He realizes that his passion and dream is to teach young signal callers the game of football and help them develop into dynamic quarterbacks.

"THE HEARTBEAT OF A FOOTBALL TEAM IS THE QUARTERBACK POSITION AND I THINK EVERYONE WHO HAS ANY INTELLIGENCE ABOUT THE GAME UNDERSTANDS YOU MUST HAVE CONSISTENCY AT THAT POSITION TO BE A CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM."
